The founder of iMENA and CEO of OpenSooq, Adey Salamin, has been awarded the King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein Medal for Excellence in recognition of his great role in the field of entrepreneurship, technology and applications.

The founder of iMENA and CEO of OpenSooq, Adey Salamin, has been awarded the King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein Medal for Excellence in recognition of his great role in the field of entrepreneurship, technology and applications.  Mr. Salamin commented:


I am honored to receive the King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein Medal for Excellence. Thank you, Your Majesty. The award was in recognition of the role played in the field of technology, applications and entrepreneurship. In addition to the participation in the establishment and management of a number of pioneering internet companies in the MENA region.


I pay tribute to all those who have been part of this journey including my family, partners, friends, founders, every current or previous colleague and team member, board members and investors that believed in us. Thank you.
